NUSAN Alumni Small Grant

Nepal-US Alumni Network (NUSAN) is a network of USG alumni with a strong commitment to creating a positive impact on society. Our network's primary objective is to leverage the experiences and knowledge gained from the USG exchange programs to improve the lives of communities in Nepal. Alumni Small Grant 2023 calls for proposals from the USG alumni community to implement community-based projects that align with the below-mentioned thematic areas:

  1. Youth, Women, and Minority Empowerment - Empower these groups providing them with access to resources, education, and opportunities to help them achieve their goals.

  2. Social Change through Performing Arts - Utilize performing arts to promote social change. This includes music, dance, theatre, and other forms of performance that can inspire and engage communities.

  3. Strengthening Peace, Security, and Governance - Facilitate the mass on leadership development, conflict resolution, and peacebuilding.

  4. Protecting Women and Girls from Violence, Abuse, and Exploitation - Promote awareness, provide support services, and advocate for policy change.

  5. Supporting Political and Civic Participation, Freedom of Speech, Transparency, and Accountability - Promote the civic and political presence of the public, freedom of speech, transparency, accountability, and voter education.

  6. Entrepreneurship, Economic Prosperity & Misinformation, and Disinformation - Provide business training, mentoring, and access to funding. Providing resources and education to help people make informed decisions combating the misinformation and disinformation.
